Winter Workshops 2009/10
As we move through Winter we have lots of new goodies in store, and therefore lots of interesting and inspiring new workshops to lead us through to Spring. Look out for our new Tuesday evening Stamping Clinic sessions - so many people tell me they don’t get on with stamping, often despite spending a fortune on stash and workshops, and the solution to their troubles is often very simple. If this is you, don’t give up, give these sessions a go! If you are one of the people who tell me you have never got beyond stamping and colouring in, then as the sessions progress you will find something for you too. As a stamp addict I may be a little biased, but there is an amazing world of techniques out there - you really are only limited by your imagination and a little know how!
Also new are a series of workshops called Exploring Inks. So many customers tell me they struggle with knowing which ink to use for which surface so each class will focus on the scope of a particular ink, illustrated with three/four projects using the latest seasonal stamps. There will also be a series of downloadable hints & tips sheets published online after each session.
After a lot of heart searching I have made the decision to reduce the number of different classes on offer each month. With our increasing attendance at specialist shows, combined with the rapid development in bookings for Bespoke workshops, something had to give! We will be teaching on Tuesday evenings, Wednesday mornings, Friday afternoons, Saturday morning and afternoons, and all day workshops make a return on Sundays, just not every week!.
I have also decided that I will go back to only timetabling any workshop once, but of course you will still be able to select any of the current or previous workshops as a Bespoke workshop, but most groups still prefer me to develop a custom workshop, with exclusive projects, to suit their wishes.
The ever popular Take One Stamp workshops are back along with some workshops with more complex and time consuming projects and techniques on Sundays.
