Project of the Week 5

Ingredients

I used various Christmas greetings stamps from Hero Arts 2009 collection but have a sort through your stash and see if you already have a selection of greetings you could use in this way

Versafine Olympia Green, Spanish Moss & Crimson Red

Cream A6 Card

Cream, mid green & dark green cardstocks

Hero Arts Gems

Herma Repositional Adhesive or alternative

Stix2 1mm Foam Pads

Method

Cut the cream cardstock to 9cm x 13 cm, the mid green to 9.5cm x 13.5cm & the dark green to 10cm  x

14cm.

Using Crimson Red Versafine stamp your square stamp in the centre of the bottom of the cream cardstock.

Stamping the longest greetings first in the dark green stamp  your greeting to form a Christmas tree shape using the two shades of green alternately topping the tree off with a small star stamp or gem.

Matt the main image onto the light then the dark green cardstocks and adhere the finished piece to your A6 card with the 1mm foam pads, and add small gems as appropriate.

A really quick and simple card to make which could be adapted for almost any occasion by creating different shapes using appropriate greetings stamps.
